Discover why so many patients come to Drs. Mohamed Saccoh in Joppa, MD, for their veneers...

What Does Veneer Treatment Look Like?

Porcelain shells are placed over the front surface of a tooth or teeth to mask discoloration, cracks, misalignment, and other dental flaws.
You can expect a brighter, more balanced, and healthier-looking smile with dental veneers.

Tell Me More about Lumineers...

Patients of our Joppa, MD, practice have the option of choosing Lumineers to correct an array of cosmetic imperfections. Lumineers are an incredibly thin type of dental veneer measuring about 0.3mm in thickness. While traditional porcelain veneers are only about 1.5mm thick, our dentists will need to remove a small layer of tooth enamel to accommodate the shell. Lumineers, on the other hand, do not require any permanent alternations to your natural tooth, making the procedure reversible if, down the road, you decide you no longer want them.

A New Smile in Two Appointments

Unlike some cosmetic procedures, dental veneers are completed in a very short timeline, usually requiring two appointments at our Joppa practice. Here is what patients can expect...
We offer free consultations to help you determine if veneers are right for you...
We offer free consultations to help you determine if veneers are right for you...

Our dentists will sit down with you for a free consultation to discuss the aspects of your teeth you wish to enhance, and make sure you are a good candidate for veneers. We will help you choose which teeth to treat, and which type of veneer to provide you with the best results.

Drs. Saccoh will then remove a fine layer of enamel so each veneer lays flush with your gums and adjacent teeth. If you decide on Lumineers, this step will not be necessary. We then take precise digital scans of your smile, artfully design the restoration, and send the blueprints off to our dental lab.

The skilled technicians at the lab will craft your custom veneers from porcelain ceramic and return the finished product to our office within about two to three weeks. If we have made alternations to your teeth, we will place temporaries to keep your smile looking great in the meantime.

When they are ready, you will return to the office for placement. After checking to make sure the veneers look and fit flawlessly, we secure one shell to the surface of each treated tooth with special dental cement. This bond is incredibly strong and can last well over a decade with proper maintenance and dental care.

I have to say I was in bad shape when I first got to them and embarrased of my teeth but they made me feel so good and they didn't look down on me or judge me. And the teeth they fixed are so beautiful and I had absolutely no pain. They are really 10 stars and I recommend everyone to come here. And there staff our great and wonderful people. Dr. Saccoh and his staff are very professional and personable.  They listen to their clients’ needs and additionally, appear to be genuinely concerned about putting their clients at ease during stressful moments.   Procedural visits are explained in detail prior to the session.  Timely follow-up visits are scheduled. And lastly, Dr. Saccoh typically ends his visit by proving an opportunity for his client to ask any lingering questions that weren’t addressed  throughout the visit.  I give Dr. Saccoh and his staff a 10
